Sea City Museum coming soon

Celebrating Southampton's connection with the sea.

Sea City is a programme to help celebrate the relationship of the city and the sea by holding an annual celebration to attract the community of Southampton to actively participate in sea themed events and activities. The programme is also designed to promote and support marine businesses, encourage more investment and to educate people of all ages about the city and its relationship with the sea. Sea City has three strands – events, education and economy.

The vision for Sea City is of a city whose community is actively, physically and mentally, connected to the sea, through a programme of sea-themed events and activities including water sports, leisure, recreation, entertainment, arts and cultural opportunities, education, training, learning, employment and business development opportunities.

This website lists sea related events and activities that are taking place in Southampton throughout 2012.

In 2012 there is something for everyone, so come on in to the Sea City website and take a browse through a world of leisure and entertainment, education and culture and decide what you want to visit or get involved in!
